Privacy Statement
The UO Libraries journal publishing platform operates under the UO Libraries Privacy Notices and Procedures, which affirms that privacy is an essential element of intellectual and academic freedom.
Information We Collect
Our journals use Open Journal Systems (OJS) software to manage the submission, peer review, and publication process. This system collects information necessary for journal operations, including names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, and manuscript files provided by authors, reviewers, and editors. When you visit our site, we automatically collect standard web information to evaluate how we can design the site to best serve user needs and to understand the reach and impact of published scholarship.
How We Use Information
Information collected through the editorial system is used solely to manage peer review and publication. Published articles and author information become part of the public scholarly record. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except as required for journal operations or as required by law.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies to maintain user sessions and enable access to journal functions.
